2022 Online Renewal Now Open for Current Registrants and Non-practicing Members
Renewal for the 2022-23 registration year is available at MyNLCSW.ca. Further details can be found at https://nlcsw.ca/2022_Online_Renewal_Open. The legislative deadline to renew is February 28 (midnight Island time).
NLCSW Seeking Member Feedback
NLCSW is currently seeking member feedback on two guideline documents. Members who are interested in reviewing the draft documents and providing feedback are asked to connect with Annette Johns (ajohns@nlcsw.ca).
Health Accord NL - NLCSW Actively Engaged with the Task Force
Work is underway to develop a 10-year Health Accord for the province. The task force leading this work is co-chaired by Sister Elizabeth Davis and Dr. Patrick Parfrey. NLCSW believes that health care reform must incorporate the social determinants of health which is outlined in our Social Determinants of Health Policy Framework.
The Big Reset Report - NLCSW Provides Valuable Input
In October 2020, the Premiers Economic Recovery Team (PERT) was tasked with reviewing government expenditures, the province’s fiscal capacity, how services are delivered, and exploring possible growth sectors. As part of PERT’s consultation process, NLCSW was pleased to provide both an online submission and virtual presentation.
