NLCSW’s board has voted to extend the board term for positions that are up for nomination and move the AGM until Fall 2020. In making this decision, the board took into consideration the continually evolving situation with COVID-19 and felt that moving these important events would help ensure maximum response and engagement from NLCSW members.
NLCSW Board President Henry Kielley and Executive Director/Registrar Lisa Crockwell released a joint message to members today expressing thanks to all RSW's for their ongoing leadership and dedication. The message also highlighted the work being done by NLCSW staff who continue to work remotely while monitoring the impacts of COVID-19 on both social workers and the public.
