2026 renewal is open for current NLCSW registrants & non-practicing members at MyNLCSW.ca. The administrative renewal deadline is February 15, 2026 (midnight Island time). A $50 late fee will be applied to active renewals received after this deadline. The final legislative renewal deadline is February 28, 2026 (midnight Island time). A $100 late fee will be applied to active renewals received after this deadline.
The Social Worker Registry is updated as individual renewals are processed. Only those with a status of ‘active’ and expiry date of ‘February 28, 2027’ are considered registered and licensed to practice social work in NL for the 2026-27 registration year. The 2026-27 registration year runs from March 1, 2026 – February 28, 2027.
