After a thorough search process, the NLCSW Board of Directors is delighted to announce the appointment of Wendy Skinner MSW, RSW, as the new Executive Director & Registrar of NLCSW, effective March 9, 2026.
Wendy’s career spans over 25 years and 2 provinces with progressive leadership positions in the health care system. Wendy also has experience in the field of human resources and community not-for-profit leadership. Wendy joined NLCSW in 2025 as Associate Director of Quality and Practice and prior to this, she was Provincial Professional Practice Consultant for Social Work for NL Health Services.
As NLCSW’s Executive Director & Registrar, Wendy will guide our strategic priorities, support the ongoing work of our staff, and foster strong connections with NLCSW partners. Wendy’s leadership approach—rooted in collaboration, accountability, and partnership building—aligns with NLCSW’s values and direction for the future. We look forward to the fresh perspective and energy Wendy will bring as we continue to build on the foundation of meaningful work already underway.
